The VooDooStone sees light differently than the human eye and shifts between three colors: a purplish-pink in daylight, a golden amber under warm incandescent light, and a vivid peridot green under fluorescent light.
A shield-cut VooDooStone — five sides, a broad flat crown and a tapered point — set in a halo of cubic zirconia cut to the very same outline. Getting a halo to follow a five-sided stone corner for corner is the hard part of a ring like this; the result is one bold geometric shape rather than a stone sitting inside a circle.
The crown is cut in long open facets rather than many small ones, so the stone shows its color in broad flashes instead of sparkle. Is the color change real, or is it the photography?
It is real. Every photo on this page is the same ring. We simply moved it between a warm indoor lamp, open daylight and cool shade. Hold it under a window and then under a lamp and you will see it yourself.
Which stones change color and which do not?
The shield-cut centre is the VooDooStone. The halo stones are cubic zirconia and stay clear and white — they frame the color rather than compete with it.
What sizes do you have?
Sizes 5 through 11. Choose your size above — anything showing as sold out is one we do not have in stock at the moment, and we are happy to let you know when it returns.
How do I care for sterling silver?
Wipe with a soft polishing cloth, avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine and perfume, and store in a dry pouch to slow tarnish.
